Jacques, the creator of Sjaak’s Organic Chocolates, has brought his talents as a confectioner over from Holland, his homeland. His extensive knowledge of confections and his flare for creativity allows him to create endless amounts of gourmet treats for us all to delight in! When he is not in the kitchen, at home, or in the Sjaak’s factory concocting another mouth watering treat, he is either gardening (a landscape worthy of a wedding location), painting, or playing with his grandson, trying to teach him to say OPA (Dutch for grandpa)
Cristina is the newest member of our team. She does all of our wonderful graphics, handles inventory management and keeps Jacques on track (because those creative types need that). In addition to juggling all that, she is a delight to work with.
Eli is by far our youngest team member. He began working when he was 3 months old at the Natural Products Expo West. Of course he won over the hearts of many attendants with his natural charm. Eli is Jacques and Pam’s grandson, known by some as the future CEO. As you can see here he has inherited a deep love of chocolate.
Pam is the wife of Jacques. We can actually thank her for everything, for with out her, and Jacques love of her, there would be no Sjaak’s Organic chocolates. You see back in 1969 Jacques followed Pam all the way from Spain to Northern California where they settled married and began a family. Pam currently works as consultant and administrator.
Yes you may have guessed it, Jessica is Pam and Jacques daughter, also Eli’s Mom (we told you this was a family business). Jessica spends her time in the sales office. If you call she will probably be the one you talk to. Jessica is passionate about organic food, non-GMO food, and treading lightly on the earth.
Jen is the newest member of our team. She works in the shipping department and is diligent about getting chocolate out as quickly as possible. If you ever get the chance to talk to Jen, you will soon see she has a very healthy sense of humor. She keeps everyone laughing and is great fun to work with.
